Forest Farm & LegalDirect: a tandem for more sustainable agriculture.
Forest Farm is a non-profit organisation from Asse that promotes sustainable, regenerative agriculture in a unique way. They are the bridge between landowners and organic farmers, who they guide in a very practical way in the transition to agro-ecology, thanks to the planting of trees and hedges. After all, it is possible to organise sustainable agriculture, in harmony with the landscape and nature. One does not have to exclude the other.
Forest Farm's role has various facets:
- Convincing landowners to work with them.
- Finding local organic farmers who want to work the land.
- Coordinating the creation of plantings.
- Fundraising
- Organising planting days and team building
- …
But above all, it is about promoting sustainable agriculture and food forests.
Various partners are active in this story, so it is also necessary that all agreements are clearly written down. And that is where LegalDirect comes in. We support Forest Farm in drawing up the various agreements and contracts. We do this pro bono in order to contribute to a more sustainable world.
