As the daughter of 2 human rights activists, Leïla was immersed from an early age in an international atmosphere where both law and commitment were held in high regard, which occasionally led to unique experiences, like being chained to an embassy's fence at 8 years old during protests against nuclear testing in the South Pacific.
Founded on these principles of commitment and international cooperation, LegalDirect has been growing since 2014. For Leïla as managing partner and founder, her dedication to her clients and maintaining open communication based on mutual trust remains paramount. Start-ups, established companies, and NGOs alike appreciate her pragmatic and solution-focused approach.
Leïla assists her clients when it comes to drafting agreements, conducting negotiations and developing complex (corporate) structures, often in an international context, and where she can combine her expertise in corporate law and IP/IT law.
Her bilingualism (Dutch, French, English, German) is of course an added value.
In 2024, law firms LegalDirect and Spectrum Legal decided to join forces and continue under the name 'LegalDirect'.
